Ủy ban Kinh tế và Xã hội Châu Âu phát động Giải thưởng Xã hội Dân sự 2015 về chống đói nghèo

This year the prize will reward initiatives that aim to improve economic and social inclusion among people living in poverty, or that tackle the increasing risk of poverty in Europe.

Civil society organizations and/or individuals who have carried out initiatives which aim to combat poverty are invited to enter this contest. However, contestants cannot apply directly to the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).

They have to be nominated by one or more EESC members, national economic and social councils or European civil society organizations and networks. The initiatives should be innovative and must make a valuable contribution to the well-being of the communities which benefit from them.

The total prize money is €50,000 and it can be shared between up to five winners. The deadline for applications is 31 2015 tháng bảy. The award ceremony will take place on Ngày 10 tháng 2015 năm tại Brussels.

This is the seventh Civil Society Prize organized by the EESC. The aim of the prize is to reward and encourage initiatives by civil society organizations and/or individuals which have made a significant contribution towards promoting European identity and integration.
